PHIMC expands organizational capacity by providing fiscal and administrative services to a wide range of structures and collaboratives, including non-profit organizations, non-exempt initiatives, and public and private bureaucracies. This eliminates operational barriers that often prevent effective program management and innovation.
PHIMC serves as the organizational home for agencies such as Chicago Black Gay Men’s Caucus, Chicago Torture Justice Center, Creating Pathways and Access for Student Success Foundation (CPASS), Pride South Side, and Therapy Access Project.
Our Fiscal Management Program provides small and emerging non-profits with the resources and guidance they need to develop skills and build capacity for financial stability and sustainable long-term growth. When starting an organization, it can be very difficult to find the capacity and expertise to create financial structure. PHIMC knows the non-profit financial rules so you can focus on running your organization.
As a fiscal agent, PHIMC provides an array of back office services, including payroll, funds management, hiring, bank reconciliation, budget and voucher preparation and submission, human resources, and grant preparation and submission.
