Youth Leadership Summit

The Alliance will host its annual Youth Leadership Summit in the western suburbs of Chicago on Sunday, February 1, 2026.

The Youth Leadership Summit focuses on support and technical assistance for Genders & Sexualities Alliances (GSAs) and preparation for Day of (No) Silence 2026. The Summit is an opportunity for youth leaders and GSA advisors and sponsors from across the state to come together to organize, network, learn, and develop leadership skills within the movement for safer schools for LGBTQ+ identities.

The Youth Leadership Summit is on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 10 am to 4 pm. The Alliance staff will share the Summit address directly with those who register to attend.

We invite all GSA sponsors, youth leaders, and allies across Illinois to attend the event filled with fun, education, and community building! Please register by 5:00 pm CST on Friday, January 16, 2026, to support our planning efforts.
