The Safe Schools Consortia Project, developed as part of PHIMC’s Alliance program, aims to build regional networks of leaders across Illinois committed to creating safe and affirming school environments for LGBTQ+ youth. The project focuses on educational leaders in Regional Offices of Education (ROEs) so that those leaders can effect change across the districts they support.

During this breakout session at the National Network of Public Health Institutes’ Annual Conference, Alliance staff will discuss the design and development of this project.
