To address the rising tide of violence against the LGBTQ+ community in Illinois and nationally, the Illinois Public Health Association is hosting “OUTSafe: LGBTQ+ Older Adult Violence Prevention Program” in partnership with PHIMC.

This free virtual introductory training for service providers will provide education and understanding for service providers on the victimization of older LGBTQ+ adults and will assist providers in best caring for older LGBTQ+ adults who come forward about their victimization.
