Update of 5/1/2025:
Our Youth Health Conference will now happen on May 31! This comes after a planning pause due to disruptions in federal funding in late March. We are thrilled to now be resuming this work. We are also heartbroken that so many non-profits remain deeply impacted, and we encourage continued action to reverse the tide. What’s happening now in our country impacts young people and their future as adults, and events like this give space for people to share how they’re feeling in this moment.

Help Us Elevate Youth Health Needs and Solutions
We invite you to submit a workshop proposal for our upcoming PHIMC Youth Health Conference. The conference theme, My Health, My Voice, Authentically Me, centers youth and will amplify and engage young people and their champions across Chicago in strategic conversations around health-related topics, including substance use prevention and education, mental health, LGBTQIA+ health, violence prevention, HIV prevention and education, and justice involvement.

Workshop Proposal Guidelines
An overview of the workshop guidelines and application can be found at the application link below. Our selection committee, comprised of youth and adults, will give preference to sessions that prioritize youth participation and youth-centered topics.
Submissions are due on May 6, 2025 by 5 pm CT. PHIMC will evaluate submissions on a rolling basis and notify all applicants of selection decisions.
