We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the Fall 2017 Illinois Reentry Conference to be held on October 18-19, in Springfield, IL. Sponsored by the Community Reentry Project through Public Health Institute of Metropolitan Chicago and Illinois Department of Public Health, the conference will connect the dots between reentry and health equity.

Opening reception from 6:00-8:00pm. Attendees will have the chance to learn about Community Reentry Project partners and network with other professionals serving reentry populations throughout Illinois.
Thursday, October 19
The conference will run from 9:00 am-4:30 pm with breakfast and lunch provided. The day will include plenaries, panels, and breakout sessions on topics that include the following:
● Harm Reduction
● HIV/AIDS Prevention and Education, including PrEP
● Cultural Competency
● Women’s Prison Health
● Addressing the Social Determinants of Health for the Reentry Community
● Linkage to Care and Discharge Planning
