Public Health Institute of Metropolitan Chicago to Host Inaugural Youth Health Conference Addressing Key Issues in Health Equity


What:

Public Health Institute of Metropolitan Chicago (PHIMC) is proud to announce its inaugural Youth Health Conference: My Health, My Voice, Authentically Me, a full-day, in-person conference designed to inform, inspire, and mobilize young people and all those who are passionate about promoting health equity and expanding access to care for young people in Chicago.

This dynamic conference will engage young people and their champions across Chicago in strategic conversations around health-related topics, including substance use prevention and education, mental health, LGBTQIA+ health, violence prevention, HIV prevention and education, and justice involvement. Attendees will experience student-led learning, real conversations, and fresh insights on addressing the health needs of young people.

Saturday, May 31, 2025, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm

Who:
The target audience of the Youth Health Conference is Chicago-based youth, community-based organizations, healthcare providers, youth development organizations, schools, city agencies involved in health programs, and public health practitioners. Register and learn more here.
