Public Health Institute of Metropolitan Chicago (PHIMC) seeks individuals to participate in the Chicago Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) 2017 Ryan White Part A Quality Management (QM) site visit process as chart reviewers. Reviewers will attend full day Ryan White Part A site visits with CDPH and conduct chart audits for specific Ryan White Part A service categories. PHIMC’s goal is to recruit at least 25 expert chart reviewers for this effort. Service categories that will be audited include: Ambulatory/Outpatient Medical Care Services, Early Intervention Services (EIS), Case Management, Mental Health Services, Oral Health Care, and Substance Abuse Services – Outpatient & Residential, Psychosocial Services (PSS). Reviewer Commitment and Compensation
Ryan White Part A QM site visits will be conducted throughout the Chicago Eligible Metropolitan Area (EMA) August 1, 2017- February 28, 2018.
Reviewers will be compensated $500/site visit.
Reviewers must:
- Commit to 8 hour, full day site visits 9:00 am- 5:00 pm
- Travel independently to designated site visit location(s)
- Navigate a variety of electronic medical record systems and paper client charts
- Input audit feedback into electronic site visit audit tools via Survey Monkey online system
- Maintain the highest level of personal conduct during the site visit process, including, but not limited to:
- Ethically review proprietary information
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Avoid any conflict of interest and sign a ‘Conflict of Interest and Confidentiality of Information’ form. Reviewers cannot participate in site visits where they are affiliated with the agency
Reviewer Qualifications
To be eligible to serve as a chart audit reviewer, you must be one or more of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, Licensed Physician, Physician’s Assistant, Licensed Dentist, or Oral Health Professional. No previous experience with Ryan White Part A is required.
