An update from the CDC on 3 nucleic acid tests approved for diagnostic testing of HIV- the cobas HIV-1/HIV2 Qualitative test; the Aptima HIV-1 Quant Dx Assay, and the Alinity m HIV-1 Assay, the latter of which provide a qualitative and quantitative result.
