In July 2016, Public Health Institute of Metropolitan Chicago (PHIMC) welcomed a new member to the leadership team. Julio Rodriguez oversees the finance department and provides strategic direction for the organization’s financial health. “Julio is an excellent addition to the PHIMC team,” reflected Executive Director Karen A. Reitan. “We are very excited about the experience and expertise he brings to our organization.”
Mr. Rodriquez is responsible for the financial management of PHIMC and ensuring fiscal accountability. He has extensive experience working with non-profit organizations as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) financial consultant, volunteer, and board member.
Previously, Mr. Rodriguez served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Financial Director for several different companies in the U.S., with national and international locations. He is a licensed CPA in Illinois and an active member of the Illinois CPA Society and the American Institute of CPAs. Mr. Rodriguez also uses his expertise as an accounting instructor for Walden University.
